The best way is by local train:  The airport has a train service that runs into Malaga-City Centre.  You will find the signs as you exit the main doors onto the terraced area.  The station is visible on the other side of the road.

There is only one train line that runs past the airport, it is the C1 between Malaga and Fuengirola.  You will need to take this C1 train, direction to Málaga.  You will need to get off at the Maria Zambrano stop. This is the main train station ‘Estación Maria Zambrano’.  Here you need to change lines.  Get the C2 line direction to Alora, you will need to change platforms (platform 10). There you will need to wait for the C2 train direction to Alora.  Pizarra is the 5th stop.  It will take about 20 minutes.

For train time table:   You can buy the tickets at the ticket machines at the airport train stop.  The price to Malaga Maria Zambrano is €1.80 and the price to Pizarra from the station is €2.80.  Have change available.

Once at Pizarra station, you can phone:

-The Hotel Cortijo del Arte - Telephone:  +34 952 48 45 23 (if you are staying there).

-Taxi number on the board at the station car park if no taxies are there.

-Pablo’s taxies: +34 606157013.  – Say you are at “Estación Pizarra”. The fare is no more than €7.

It is over a kilometre walk from the station on the main road to the venue.  It is not very safe so it is not advisable.

You will need to come out of the airport and head towards Málaga.  It is about a 35 minute drive.

The Hotel Restaurante Cortijo del Arte offers accommodation. We strongly advice students to book as soon as possible if they wish to get accommodation there as there are a limited number of rooms.  We have managed to hold some for the students, so please say you are attending the “Feng Shui Course”. If some student can share then there will be room for everybody.  It is very economic when sharing in the Duplex rooms.  The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from Pizarra train station for those staying there.

For reservations, please email the hotel directly:
